About Athena Learning
Athena Learning is led by educator and author Heather Miller, a native New Yorker and graduate of MIT, Harvard Graduate School of Education and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. In addition to producing reading and writing programs that are used throughout the US, Heather Miller has worked on groundbreaking educational technology programs in India, China and France. This international background is reflected in Athena Learning’s international Young Historians Program which Heather founded in 2001 while a graduate student at MIT.
Athena works with schools to enrich and enliven classroom instruction and dramatically improve learning outcomes for students.
On a limited basis, Athena develops bespoke curricula and educational experiences for schools, museums, nonprofits and corporations.
